A. Course Objective:
Description:
This Project oriented program includes Lean Six Sigma Black Belt methodologies to a project. Students will learn PMBOK methods of Project Management. Competencies to be achieved: Project management fundamentals and processes, Identify organizational influences and project life cycle, Plan, initiate a project, Project time management, Project budget, quality, and communications, Plan for risk, procurements, and stakeholder management, Manage and execute project work, scope, schedules, and cost, Control and close projects. Visio create professional visual product diagrams, maps, and drawings, using graphical elements. Microsoft Excel, Time Management and Presentation Skills.
Competencies to be achieved:
Students will Learn the DMAIC Methodology , Define Phase Project Report and pass Define Tollgate , Measure Phase Project Report and pass Measure Tollgate , Analyze Phase Project Report and pass Analyze TollgateControl, Improve Phase Project Report and pass Improve Tollgate , Control Phase Project Report and pass Control Tollgate, Be able to lead a Six Sigma Project. Students will also Student will learn to design and track well-formed projects by gathering requirements, creating a project plans and assessing project risk while managing multiple business priorities. In addition, the student will learn how to use a computer program (Microsoft Project) as a tool for projects
