Job Description

Our education client is hiring for a Creative Director / Designer for their full-time need.

This does require someone to be local, as this is hybrid, two days onsite in their Scottsdale office.

This role does not have any direct reports, and will require you to be hands on with design execution.

Responsibilities:
-Maintains brand guidelines, ensuring they are consistently applied across all channels and resonate with our target audiences
-Manages multiple creative projects from start to finish; determines project objectives, brainstorms project or campaign themes, refines concepts, and oversees final production of deliverables
-Creative Design & Production: designs, copywrites, and delivers high-quality creative assets, including flyers, infographics, custom graphics, email templates, social media visuals/ads, logos, engaging video content, and presentation materials. 
-Work closely with the Vice President of Marketing, will work with vendor(s) to oversee photo and video shoots
-Facilitate physical branding change when converting acquired schools to internal brands. This could include exterior and interior signage/branding and management of external vendor production and install
-Ensures projects adhere to established timelines and budgets and provides ongoing status updates in a fast-paced environment. Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management
-Manages all print on demand vendors overseeing pricing and production of collateral for our schools
-Oversees the project management of all incoming school and department requests via our internal ticketing system, ensuring all deadlines are met
-Assists in maintaining and updating website content
-Maintain a comprehensive library of assets, ensuring it is user-friendly and accessible for internal teams
-Support the planning and execution of field events, conference and promotional activities

Qualifications: 
- Must have minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible marketing or creative experience that demonstrates a strong understanding of the required knowledge, skills and abilities
- Requires prior supervisory/management experience, preferably within corporate educational setting
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work
- Must have the ability to supervise and coordinate the work of subordinate personnel in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale
- Ability to be a creative, independent thinker
- Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism, customer service, and enthusiasm, combined with the ability to build relationships with business and key stakeholders
- Possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills along with the ability to utilize the appropriate management techniques to plan, organize, control and coordinate activities
