Job Description
Summary:
The Maintenance Worker performs data entry into CMMS in a timely manner; provides input on equipment and supply acquisition; performs repairs and preventative maintenance on all non-clinical equipment throughout facility; evaluates, repairs, or makes recommendations to dispose of all non-clinical equipment; performs minor electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs, minor fixture installation and painting duties.
Responsibilities:
Completes Maintenance Work Orders and preventative maintenance correctly and in a reasonable length of time as demonstrated by inspection; records time and materials according to departmental standards as demonstrated by audit and documentation; addresses patient comfort and convenience requests immediately when possible - only emergency and safety issues shall have a higher priority; shares information pertaining to work with peers. Performs minor electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs, minor fixture installation and painting duties; inspects completion of repairs, equipment and systems for safe and proper function. Keeps work area and storage areas clean and orderly; keeps tools clean, appropriately stored, and in proper working condition. Provides accurate and timely reports including but not limited to Report of Failure of Equipment.
