What You'll Do
The Customer Onboarding Specialist (COB) will be the face of the organization during our first interaction with a new customer. This individual will be crucial to ensuring all new customers are set up accurately in our system to successfully transact with us quickly. The COB will work in tandem with their Sales Rep to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and/or obtained before the first order is placed. All essential pre-work should be completed and loaded as soon as a new customer packet is requested. Data integrity and precision are key performance metrics of this team. The Customer Onboarding Specialist will always strive for a high-level of customer satisfaction. All activities are to be managed in accordance with the company's goals of safety, compliance, and code of conduct.
What You'll Need
High School Diploma required; Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
A combination of education and/or experience will be considered for the ideal candidate.
Prior experience working in Customer Solutions with B2B customers
Ability to nurture relationships internally and externally with new customers, our Customer Solutions and Sales teams
Experience working in fast paced, high volume environment
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Needs to be agile and understand the importance of accuracy
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast paced work environment
Chemical/Distribution experience a strong plus
Proficiency with the MS Office package preferred, strong excel skills are encouraged
Experience using Salesforce, SharePoint and Tableau (or equivalent reporting tools) Specialized
SAP or relevant ERP systems
