This opportunity reports to theElectrical Power Systems Group inside of the Lunar Transportation business unit.As part of a growing, hardworking, and curious team ofdesign engineers,you'll be deployed to programs that shape the future of Blue Origin.This position is for thedesign, analysis, and test ofavionics enclosures for electronic components. You will work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners as part of the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program. You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Transportation system that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth. Passion for our mission and vision is required! Responsibilities: To be successful in this role you will need to be able to function in a cross disciplinary team and a dynamic design environment. You need to support electronics development and trade studies, and create interface definition, specification, and control documents. You must be able to validate requirements through design, test, analysis, or inspection. You will need to plan and conduct tests,reviewand interpret data. You must be able to create assembly and/or installation drawings and supporthardwarebuilds.As an Avionics Mechanical Design & Analysis Engineer, you will design avionics enclosure solutions for high reliability in harsh environments. You will participate in the entire design cycle of flight and mission critical avionics. You will work with the electrical engineering team to design rugged printed circuit board systems. You will complete thermal and structural analyses of these designs. You will create engineering drawings and manage the product configuration of the integrated designs through the product lifecycle.
