Job Summary

Under the direction of the Chief Information Security Officer is responsible to organize, direct, coordinate and oversee all aspects of personnel security credentialing for TriWest. The Facilities Security Officer (FSO) is primarily responsible for providing technical and policy support to the Personnel Security Investigation and for overseeing the granting of access to Department of Defense (DoD) and TriWest systems.

Education & Experience

Required:
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Business Management or related field or equivalent experience. Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility (U.S. Citizenship Required). A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered Active. Experience initiating, reviewing, completing, and monitoring security questionnaires in e-QIP. Experience capturing and submitting e-fingerprints via Secured Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT) and FD258 fingerprint cards. Experience utilizing Defense Information Security System (DISS). Supervisory experience in a corporate environment. Project management training or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate personnel security credentialing activities with Human Capital, Information Security, Information Services and other internal departments. Include development and ongoing monitoring of tools to provide to applicants that will ensure rapid and smooth data entry and processing upon hire. Coordinates activation and deactivation of access of internal and external uses to TriWest, business partner and Department of Defense (DoD) systems. Act as primary point of contract and administrator of applicable Governments systems such as eQIP, RAPIDS and DISS. Partners with internal departments to ensure that TriWest personnel complete appropriate background and security checks in accordance with the relevant system manual. Initiate and process Personnel Security Investigation (PSI) packages, including communicating with applicants about errors and omissions; entering corrections to noted errors and omissions; and retaining sensitive records in accordance with DoD record management policies; and preparing daily document shipments to the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). Assist with document control and program asset management and accountability. Perform other duties as assigned. Regular and reliable attendance is required.
