As part of a diverse and hardworking team of engineers, you will lead Circuit Designs for our various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of the development of our Avionics systems. As an Avionics Spacecraft Electrical Hardware Design Engineer here, your role will be to design and build avionics systems that will lay the foundation for the future. This role will stretch your imagination and challenge your abilities. This position requires highly skilled in circuit design, analysis, simulation, and testing, and experience delivering results. No matter how strong your skills are, you will still be faced with tasks that are above your current ability. We will ask you to embrace this and grow with us. In addition, you will need to be able to work optimally in a team environment, collaborating with hardware and software engineers to integrate firmware with other system components. Clear, concise communication of technical information, both verbally and in writing, is needed. Responsibilities: Responsible for architecting circuit block designs for space Develop the Schematics, select the EEE Components, perform Worst Case Circuit Analysis, perform Derating and Parts Stress Analysis, analyze the Power Budget, and perform the Radiation compliance analysis. Guide circuit card development through its design phases, from requirements definition through initial integration testing. Work closely with Blue Programs to establish requirements and design Printed Wiring Board Assemblies (PWBAs) that meet those requirements.
