What You Will Do:
Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
Directs financial closings and maintains account reconciliations which support the general ledger.
Support FDICIA and SOX compliance and internal control matters.
Manage, train and coach the Accounting team, ensuring the highest standard of performance, teamwork, and service.
Be the US GAAP subject matter expertise to ensure technical issues are well analyzed and reflected in company's technical memos.
Oversee the corporate tax accounting and tax compliance to ensure all tax treatments and positions are reasonable and defendable. This would include external tax consultants on tax position papers for quarterly review with external auditors.
Establishes and ensures compliance with financial closing schedules (manages closing schedules process improvement in order to provide required financial data in a timely, accurate manner).
Monitors financial trends and provides senior management with detailed reports and analysis; advise on problem matters and recommends courses of action designed to correct or reduce their impact.
Directs the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures designed to promote compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, promote internal efficiency and address specific problem areas.
Coordinates the activities of external auditors. Manages the audit relationship and the audit activities throughout the year.
Reviews external and internal audit findings. Recommendations and prepares responses to issues raised.
What You Bring:
Intermediate-advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge of Financial and ERP systems
Proven leadership, managerial, and organizational skills
Experience with Microsoft Great Plains, banking, SEC reporting, and public auditing experience
Education Level Education Details Required/Preferred
Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, or other related field Required
Experience Level Experience Details Required/Preferred
10-15 years Bank or financial services Accounting role of a public company Required
5-7 years Supervisory experience Preferred
License/Certification Details Time Frame Required/Preferred
CPA preferred Upon Hire Preferred

Pay Range: $134,000 - $228,000/YR
Job Classification: Full-Time Exempt
