Job Description

Job Description: Research, design, plan, or perform engineering duties in the prevention, control, and remediation of environmental hazards using various engineering disciplines. Work may include waste treatment, site remediation, or pollution control technology. Provide technical support to our team of highly skilled engineers in Arizona and the West Region, while leading tasks/projects simultaneously and utilizing technical knowledge and expertise to develop the team’s overall capabilities. Manages tasks/projects and clients expectations for the planning, design and construction of Water/Wastewater treatment plants, storm water systems, distribution/collection systems, and pump/lift stations as well as creating construction documents, specifications and handling construction oversight/administration. Meets established budgets and delivery schedules for each assignment; for project/task scope schedule and budget. Works directly with clients to determine needs and provide solutions, and may lead teams in the preparation of winning proposals and successful presentations. Creates cost estimates and project schedules, and will be responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule. Performs detailed engineering calculations & analysis, and utilizes design software to solve complex issues. Performs hydraulic analysis and geospatial data analysis utilizing industry software. Position allows for remote work and reports to the company’s office in Phoenix, AZ.

 

Minimum Requirements:  A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a closely related engineering field and four (4) years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained.

 

In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a closely related engineering field and two (2) years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained.

 

Special Requirements: Position requires related experience (4 years with Bachelor’s or 2 years with Master’s), which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Bluebeam Revu; Infoworks ICM; PCSWMM; ArcGIS Pro; MS Excel, including: Advanced Formula, Data Analysis, Automation (VBA, Macros); PowerBI; and Python language.

 

*Requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license issued by any U.S. state.
