Job Description
Description:
Our client is looking to add a DevOps Engineer to their team to support each individual line of business to collect and communicate solution architecture specific requirements for the Infrastructure and Platform Solutions. A large portion of the work aligned to this role will be working with stand alone Kubernetes and creating K8 clusters for various refactorization and automation needs in support of the Engineers on the Platform Solutions team.
Key responsibilities:
Experience with Kubernetes and / or Openshift and Helm deploying application services
Experience creating and implementing K8 clusters.
Experience with automation frameworks and tools like Ansible and Terraform
Experience with the Jenkins platform, provisioning, configuring, and using automation like Jenkins Configuration as Code (JCasC)
Experience programming and scripting (with languages like Golang, Python, Java/Groovy or Bash)
Expertise with Git and platforms such as Atlassian Bitbucket / GitHub Enterprise / Azure DevOps Server
Experience with Continuous Integration & Delivery Best Practices
Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, willing to take initiative and able to apply new technologies when appropriate
Must have technical skills/experience (ask for alternative/tool/version):
