Job Description
Summary
The Restaurant Host coordinates activities of dining room personnel to provide fast and courteous service to restaurant patrons by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets guests with friendly attitude, escorts them to tables, and provides menus.
- Address complaints of patrons and reports them to Restaurant Lead or F & B Director.
- Inspects dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness. Helps change table linens and stocks other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations.
- Helps bus tables.
- Folds Napkins, prepare glass set-ups and polish silverware.
- Helps prepare and deliver beverages and delivers food orders.
- Helps prep and stock of food and beverage items.
- Helps to cash out guests.
- Totals receipts at end of shift, to verify sales and clears cash register.
- Must perform all cleaning duties before, during and after shift.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Qualifications
- Must have previous cash handling experience.
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours or more.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be certifiable by the Cocopah Tribal Gaming Office.
- Successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment and ongoing random drug testing.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED, a combination of education and experience may be considered.
WORK ENVIRONMENT -In the Entertainment industry one may be subject to a work environment containing excessive noise, smoke and stress.
