Job Description
Summary
Line Cook is responsible for performing any combination of duties necessary to facilitate an extremely high quality food service experience. Maintain kitchen area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. The line fully stocked and cleaned prior to shift end. Other duties may be assigned by Sous chef at times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare all hot and cold foods per the standards outlined.
- Cook all food orders with maximum care and skill.
- Maintain assigned work station in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Keep your area stocked and easy to get round while making food orders.
- Know food safety and handling to include proper temperature requirements.
- Ability to work under very busy circumstances and multi task
- The Casino is a 24 hour/7 day a week operation and requires availability for all shifts and days.
