Job Description
Summary
This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all golf course equipment and machinery. The areas of responsibility include small engine repair, electrical, hydraulics, welding and preventative maintenance. Responsible for grinding and back lapping of all reels on mowers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Golf Course Superintendent in day-to-day operations of the golf course
- Applying fertilizers and pesticides
- Repair and service small engines
- Operation and maintenance of all mowers and tractors.
- Sets up and modifies new equipment as needed
- Service all resort vehicles.
- Supply list of all supplies, parts, safety equipment etc. for superintendent.
- Keep service records on all equipment and vehicles
- Inventory and maintenance of all tools.
- Grind and maintain all mower reels.
- Inspects equipment on course
- Other duties may be assigned
