Job Description
Job Duties:- Design, plan and implement corporate compensation structures
- Maintain the organization’s pay and benefits structure
- Responsible for reviewing programs, suggesting modifications, and ensuring achievement of competitive market position and other goals identified by the organization
- Responsible for ensuring compensation and benefit programs meet employee needs and are cost effective
- Ensure the compensation enhances the organization's ability to recruit and retain employees
- Manage the design and development of tools to assist employees in benefits selection and guide managers through compensation decisions
- Administer and review employee benefit plans such as medical, dental, group life, disability, 401(k), flexible spending account program, and COBRA
- Coordinate and implement annual open enrollment processes and presentations
- Develop employee communications covering compensation and benefits
- Ensure benefit policies are competitive and comply with legal requirements
- Configure and support SAP Compensation module pay structures
- Configure and support SAP Benefits module for all medical, dental, vision, Health Spending Accounts, 401k plans
- Facilitate annual 401k audits, prepare form 5500 and Summary Annual Report for benefits
- Prepare information for Workers’ Compensation audits
- Act as the primary liaison for benefit vendors and third-party administrators
- Manage all aspects of vendor relations to ensure seamless service delivery
- Reconcile and process welfare plan invoices through automation
- Analyze and present insights on employee demographics, trends, and projections to senior management
- Manage Payroll processes to ensure timely processing of employee compensation
- Prepare semi-annual payroll budgets for Finance
- Meet with HR and Finance senior management to recommend compensation and benefit programs
- Read and follow the environmental and safety (EHS) requirements associated with their assigned duties, complete required EHS training on time, wear prescribed personal protective equipment and report all hazardous situations they observe and any injuries or incidents they experience or become aware of.
- Participate in safety activities, drills and meetings as directed.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, sociology, or psychology, or foreign equivalent
Experience: 5 years
Certificate: SAP Certification in Benefits or Compensation
Skills: Five years of experience with the following:
- SAP HCM Compensation and Benefit Modules including configuration and functionality
- SAP HCM Payroll and Time Administration Modules including configuration and functionality
- SAP HCM ERP platform
- HRIS Systems
