A. Course Objective:
Description: Learn to assist dentists and other dental professionals in patient care. Complete at least 336 hours of clinical work in dental clinics or offices. This program is accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation.
Competencies to be achieved: Upon successful completion of the Dental Assisting Education program, the learner will be able to:
Graduates of the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited Dental Assisting Education program will be qualified to obtain state and national board exams to enter the workforce in private and public dental settings.
