A. Course Objective:
Description: Learn basic business principles and specialize in marketing or management.
Competencies to be achieved: Upon successful completion of the Business AAS Degree program, the learner will be able to:
• Identify and understand basic theories, principles, practices and terminology related to each functional area of business
• Demonstrate competency in the areas of critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving (reflect, analyze, and apply)
• Communicate effectively using oral, written and non-verbal techniques, including the use of technology, in the gathering and presentation of information
