A. Course Objective:
Description: From steering and suspension to engines and electrical systems, understand car repair inside and out. Master the basics and prepare for entry-level positions, or choose additional advanced courses.


Competencies to be achieved: Upon successful completion of the Automotive Technology AAS Degree program, the learner will be able to:
• Diagnose and repair or replace engines and components
• Diagnose and repair or replace electrical and electronic systems and components
• Diagnose and repair or replace drivability systems and components
• Diagnose and repair or replace steering and suspension systems and components
• Diagnose and repair or replace HVAC systems and components
• Diagnose and repair or replace brake systems and components
• Diagnose and repair or replace driveline systems and components
