Description
A.Course Objective: The CompTIA A+ Certification is the industry standard for validating vendor-neutral skills expected of an entry-level computer technician. Those holding the A+ certification have a broad base of knowledge and competency in core hardware and operating system technologies including installation, configuration, diagnosing,preventive maintenance and basic networking. At Interface, CompTIA training is the standard most employers require for job retention and
promotion in IT. In our training, students get hands-on exposure to actual computer system hardware and software components. They disassemble and reassemble a working PC. Interface instructors have CompTIA Technical Training (CTT+) certification as well as A+ certification. CompTIA instructor-led training classes are: A+1001 – CompTIA A+ Certification Core 1 (Exam 220-1001) A+1002 – CompTIA A+ Certification Core 2 (Exam 220-1002) Two exams are necessary to be certified: Exam 220-1001 – Course A+1001 Exam 220-1002 – Course A+1002

• Use a keyboard and mouse.
• Recognize the main components of a PC and
different data media such as USB drives and DVD.
• Start the computer and navigate the desktop.
• Use Windows Explorer to create directories
and subdirectories and manage files.
• Use Internet Explorer to view websites.
