Description
The Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene prepares the student for employment as a dental hygienist. Graduates of this two-year program will have the knowledge and skills necessary to take the national and state licensing examinations for Dental Hygiene. This program is designed for students to complete in a two-year period following the completion of the general education requirements. Students wishing to apply for admission to the Dental Hygiene Program must complete the following courses prior to admission, although they may be enrolled in and complete the courses during the spring semester in which they are applying to the program. Please note that the General Education requirement of, “CIS 110 - Introduction to Computer Information Systems or higher” may be taken before or after admission into the program. Note: Students must adhere to the prescribed program if they are to complete the program and become eligible to take the exams. The dental hygiene courses may not transfer to another two-or-four-year college.
The Dental Hygiene program is located on the Bullhead City Campus in Bullhead City.
