Competencies to be achieved: This course will provide you with a comprehensive introduction to the American judicial system to prepare you to start a career as a Paralegal. It will also teach you practical skills including how to assist trial attorneys, interview witnesses, investigate complex fact patterns, research the law, and assist in preparing cases for courtroom litigation.

Other requirements needed: This is an accelerated course. You will be expected to spend an average of 12 hours per week reading and completing writing assignments. 70% is the minimum passing score on all tests and assignments for this course.
