Description
The Nursing Assistant Certificate program prepares students to take the state competency exams leading to certification or licensure and to work as a nursing assistant.

Program Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the Nursing Assistant Certificate program, the learner will be able to:
Function effectively in the role and within the scope of the nursing assistant.
Perform nursing assistant skills safely to meet the needs of diverse populations.
Demonstrate effective communication skills with the patients or residents and families.
