Description

A. Business Office Assistant program teaches computer skills in e-mailing, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, making brochures using database and desktop publishing using Microsoft Office 365/2019 products – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Power Point as well as how to integrate and inter use applications.
The program includes Database Management and Design using Microsoft Access, reporting, basic database set-up and charting.
The course also teaches Microsoft Operating Software Windows – how to navigate the desktop, and personalize your computer, how to use Windows  basic programs, work with files and folders and customize settings.
The course also teaches skills in using computers, e-mails and Internet effectively, including Microsoft Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and calendaring and scheduling, Document Management using Microsoft Outlook and One-Note.


The classes  allow for extensive hands-on practice. The intent of Program is to help students gain Hands on Skills in these applications and become marketable and a competitive candidate in current job market.
Upon completion of Program Graduates receive Certificate of Completion. Business Office Assistant program provides the skills necessary for a career as an office assistant, customer service representative, general office or front desk assistant or as an office manager, Data analyst, Secretary, Administrative Assistant, Administrative Secretary, Office Assistant, Clerk Typist, Office Manager, Administrative Technician, Department Secretary, Administrative Associate, Administrative Support Assistant (ASA )

H. Refund Policy and/or a link to policy on provider’s website:
Refund is based on program and percentage of refund. No later than 30 days of receiving the notice of cancellation, the school shall provide the 100% refund to the party paying (Workforce agency or student). An applicant who provides written notice of cancellation within three days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and federal and state holidays) of signing an enrollment agreement is entitled to a refund of all monies paid. An applicant requesting cancellation more than three days after signing an enrollment agreement and before the start of classes is entitled to a refund of all monies paid, less the registration fee of $200. A student choosing to withdraw from the school after the commencement of classes is to provide written notice. After the commencement of classes, the tuition refund (less the registration fee, of $150) amount shall be determined as follows based on program completion: Less than 10% – 90% Tuition Refund; More than 10% and less than or equal to 20% – Tuition Refund 80%; More than 20% and less than or equal to 30% -Tuition Refund 70%; More than 30% and less than or equal to 40% – Refund is 60%; More than 40% and less than or equal to 50% -Refund is 50%; More than 50% – No Tuition is refunded. There is no refund for equipment, books and supplies received by the student from the school.
