Description
Training at the Arizona School of Integrative Studies (ASIS) in Prescott consists of a combination of hands-on clinical training, theoretical classroom exercises and real, client interaction. Learn massage therapy techniques such as Swedish, Deep Tissue and Shiatsu.
ASIS offers full and part-time, 750-hour massage therapy training programs. ASIS’s program of massage therapy and transpersonal training is dedicated to the whole person. Students receive a hands-on education, in which they learn firsthand, working experientially with one another and client’s. Students receive training in human anatomy & physiology, kinesiology, communications, business, ethics and a wide variety of massage modalities. By using a blend of kinesthetic, audio and visual tools students receive insight into each individual learning style and process.
ASIS’s small classes allow students to receive personal attention from our dedicated, experienced and certified staff. Teachers in the program bring decades of experience in both bodywork and facilitation to their students. Every effort is made on the part of the faculty to provide students with diverse learning situations, in order for students to gain maximum experience so they will be prepared for the workforce.
Upon completion, students will receive a certificate of completion, a Chiropractic Assistant Certification and a State license (if eligible due to background check). Students will also be prepared to pass National Certification Exams, if they choose to do so.
