A. Course Objective:
Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences (BSRS) degree is intended for radiology professionals seeking a baccalaureate degree completion program.
Competencies to be achieved:
The program prepares graduates for employment responsibilities where knowledge and skills beyond
those typically attained at the associate degree level are required or preferred, with emphasis on developing professional leadership skills, acquiring advanced knowledge of health care systems, and application of critical thinking. The general education within the program gives students the opportunity to explore and integrate information beyond the specific focus of their major and to build a foundation for lifelong learning. The program is based upon the core curriculum guidelines of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.

Program coursework is delivered via online classes using an internet-based interactive learning management system. Students will utilize their assigned PMI email account. Tablets and smartphones may not be used to complete course work. They are to be used for reading and email only. Students in online courses must have a computer with the following specifications:

• Background check requirements for licensing and background restrictions for working in the occupation:
Dependent on employment requirements.
• Other requirements: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Admission requires completion of 70 semester credits of specific coursework at the postsecondary level to include: 15 general education, 46 radiography technical, 9 related credits. Transfer credits must: be awarded by a nationally or regionally accredited institution; grade of “C” or better; and numbered 100 and above. Gen-Ed transfer credits must be from a broad sampling of various educational experiences including arts & humanities, business, information systems, social sciences, or natural sciences.
