Program Synopsis


A. Course Objective: Development and guidance for increased secure IT planning, implementation, management and operation.


Description: Increase awareness of Information Technology risks, vulnerabilities, and protection requirements for new and emerging technologies.


Competencies to be achieved:

  3. CIS 180 COMPUTER PROGRAMMING LOCIG (3 cr.)

  4. CIS 260 INTRODUCTION TO OPERATING SYSTEMS (3 cr.)

  5. CIS 275 FUNDAMENTALS OF NETWORK SECURITY (3 cr.)

  6. CIS 270 NETWORK FUNDAMENTALS (3 cr.)

  7. BUA 100 SURVEY OF BUSINESS (3 cr.)

  8. BUA 110 BUSINESS MATH APPLICATIONS (3 cr.)
