Description

The Associate of Applied Science in Cybersecurity and Network Support is intended for students who plan to work in technology support and security services. The course work emphasizes computer repair, network troubleshooting, and cybersecurity. Students who have completed the Google IT Certification may transfer into this degree as Prior Learning Assessment credit for CIS 153 Networking Essentials and CIS 156 Network Security and Penetration Testing. Students wishing to transfer to four-year institutions will have courses applicable to various career fields in cybersecurity, systems administration, and information systems management. Note: For a course to be eligible for transfer, the student must receive a “C” or better. Acceptance of a transfer course is determined by the receiving institution.
