Description
A. Course Objective: The Combination Welding (CW) diploma program is
designed to equip the graduate with skills & knowledge in shielded
metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc
welding (GTAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) & plasma arc cutting
(PAC). Classes combine theory with practical application of hands-on
skills. All shop courses include the use of hand & specialty tools
& emphasize equipment & shop safety. The CW program is intended
for persons who desire a career in the Welding industry. The CW graduate
will be qualified for entry level employment in building construction,
shipbuilding, manufacturing, gas & oil field services, & as
welding operators. B. Total Cost of Program (include all costs to
student including testing, licensure): $20,622.50 tuition + $40.00 Registration Fee = $20,662.50 total C. Provide a list of all books required

of the program, a 100% refund of tuition charges, less $100.00. b. If
10% or less of the total clock hours has been completed, a refund of at
least 90% of the tuition charges for total clock hours. c. If more than
10% but less than or equal to 20% of the total clock hours has been
completed, a refund of at least 80% of the tuition charges for the total
clock hours. d. If more than 20% but less than or equal to 30% of the
total clock hours has been completed, a refund of at least 70% of the
tuition charges for the total clock hours. e. If more than 30% but less
than or equal to 40% of the total clock hours has beencompleted, a
refund of at least 60% of the tuition charges for the total clock hours.
f. If more than 40% but less than or equal to 50% of the total clock
hours has been completed, a refund of at least 50% of the tuition
charges for the total clock hours. g. If more than 50% of the total
clock hours have been completed, no refund will be provided. I.
