A. Course Objective:
Description:
This Project oriented program includes Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training. Students will learn the basics of Lean Six Sigma and will be able to apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to a project. Students will be awarded their belt from the instructor upon approval of the project. Students will learn the PMBOK methods of Project Management.
Competencies to be achieved:
Learn the DMAIC Methodology, Define Phase Project Report and pass Define Tollgate, Measure Phase Project Report and pass Measure Tollgate, Analyze Phase Project Report and pass Analyze TollgateControl, Improve Phase Project Report and pass Improve Tollgate, Control Phase Project Report and pass Control Tollgate, Be able to lead a Six Sigma Project, ,Statistical Software, MiniTab, SigmaXL
PMBOK methods of Project Management. Define project management fundamentals., Define project management within the organization., Define the project management methodology., Initiate a project., Develop a project management plan and plan components., Plan a project schedule., Plan project costs., Plan for quality, resources, and procurements.
