Description
A. Course Objective: Students enrolled in the A & P program will gain the following skills: The A&P Aviation Mechanic Certification Program provides a basic foundation reviewing principles, fundamentals, and technical procedures within the required subject matter areas necessary to achieve certification as a FAA A&P technician. Students will gain hands-on techniques & Skills in areas of composite fabrication & repair, sheet metal, hydraulics, pneumatics, instrumentation, landing gear, piston and turbine engines & other aircraft systems. Students will also learn intricacies of the entire aircraft, gaining skills to properly & efficiently troubleshoot & repair aircraft systems for fixed wing & rotary aircraft. The training also includes aircraft electrical systems & more advanced aircraft electronics (avionics). Training is delivered by hands-on techniques & knowledge in areas of rotary wing aerodynamic principles, helicopter flight control systems, helicopter engines, rotor systems, preventative maintenance. Some material is designed for those who already have some training or experience in aircraft maintenance or electronics repair & will prepare for career opportunities in aircraft electricity or aviation electronics systems, troubleshooting & repair. After the full comprehension of the aviation maintenance technician you will be considered a notable A&P in the aviation field. America’s Best Methodology utilizes an approach that is designed to nurture every aspect of a student’s development in the aviation field civilian or military, while stimulating problem-solving & critical thinking skills laying down the practical side of the A&P portion of the certification process. Preparing students on a universal skill level for test taking techniques is the foundation to success in our A&P course. We focus on students’ unique interests and abilities through hands-on active learning and opportunities for self-development. Our coaching strategies are designed to maximize the full development of each individual student, recognizing how they learn different subjects in different ways& utilizing their intelligences, or “brilliances.” Our rich learning centers are designed around world industry practices. The focal points are; 1-on-1 explanation, writing out the difficulties, Outside the box: Logical thinking, patterns, and numbers, Oral and Practical: Visualization, building, drawing, and design, Hands on, Multimethod: written, hands on, explanation, MP3, Pin-point the weakness: Intune with strong points, and adjust weak points. Classes start every Monday.
