Description

Course Objective: The objective of the Diesel & Technology Program
is to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills to diagnose
malfunctions in mechanical and electrical systems, and make necessary
repairs and replacements. Intent: This program is intended for qualified
novices who want to learn the Diesel & Industrial trade or
practicing technicians who want to upgrade their skills. It is designed
to prepare students for entry-level positions as service technicians in
diesel engine repair facilities, medium/heavy truck repair facilities
and truck dealerships; and industrial applications that include material
handling, construction equipment and transport refrigeration.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Prerequisites: No
prerequisites required Timeline: 75 weeks
