Description
This certificate provides students an introduction to the foundational principles of welding, including workplace safety, cutting, and welding to the level of fillet welds using multiple welding processes and in varying positions. It provides theoretical knowledge related to terminology, blueprints, symbols and mathematics specific to the welding industry. Note:
- For a course to be eligible for transfer, the student must receive a “C” or better. Acceptance of a transfer course is determined by the receiving institution.
- Competency Based Education operates under the MCC Student Handbook and the Competency Based Education Student Handbook.
