A. Course Objective:
Description: The curriculum involves 1200 hours to satisfy Arizona State requirements. The course includes extensive instruction and practical experience in cutting, hair coloring, perms, shaving, retailing products, and business ethics. Competencies to be achieved: Sanitation, quality customer service, personal appearance and hygiene, personal motivation, attitude, AZ state laws and regulations, salon administration, job interview preparation

Cost Breakdown: Tuition- $5,200; Registration Fee: $2,800; Graduation Fees: $140; Books/Tools- $1,821.22, $120 technology fee and $143 Exams/Licensing (TOTAL COST OF $10,224.22)

Background check requirements for licensing and background restrictions for working in the occupation: The law requires that all persons applying for a license or license renewal must demonstrate U.S. citizenship or lawful presence in the U.S. A US Citizenship Statement form with all the documents identified in the Evidence of Citizenship attachment must now accompany all license applications and renewals online at elicense.az.gov
Other requirements needed: Applicant must be at least 16 years old and provide proof of a 10th grade education

Refund Policy (provide a summary if Refund policy is not listed on school website): For applicants who cancel enrollment or students who withdraw from enrollment a fair and equitable settlement will apply. The following policy will apply to all terminations for any reason, by either party, including student decision, course or program cancellation, or school closure. 1. An applicant is not accepted by the school. The applicant shall be entitled to a refund of all monies paid. 2. A student cancels enrollment in writing within three business days of signing the enrollment agreement. Full refund. 3. A student cancels enrollment after three business days of signing the contract but prior to starting classes. Full refund except for the registration fee.
