Description: Prepare for a bookkeeping career by studying accounting theory, practical bookkeeping skills, including adjusting and correcting entries, bank reconciliation, payroll depreciation, inventory, internal controls and fraud prevention.
Competencies to be achieved: Upon successful completion of the Accounting Bookkeeping Certificate program, the learner will be able to:

• Apply basic accounting principles: Accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll transactions.
• Accurately record economic events.
• Use accounting software to carry out job functions.
