A. Course Objective
Description: Learn the shielded metal arc welding skills and processes used in construction or other field welding applications.


Competencies to be achieved: Upon successful completion of the Basic Welding Certificate program, the learner will be able to:
• Demonstrate safe work habits that reflect concern and care for self, others and the environment
• Learn primary welding processes used in construction and other field welding applications
