Course Objective Description: Approved by the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI), the Medical Transcription Editor program prepares individuals to work in medical transcription and editing. Topics covered in the training include medical terminology, anatomy, pharmacology, healthcare documentation, and editing theory and technique. Learners develop their typing and listening skills on hundreds of employer-provided dictations. Training includes a transcription foot pedal, the AHDI Book of Style ebook, and a voucher to take the RHDS exam.
