Program Synopsis: Financial Services: Pre-licensure 


Course Objective: This short 4 credit program provides an overview of investments, financial services and exam preparation for the FINRA SIE® Exam. The SIE® certification is a valuable, nationally recognized verification of your basic securities industry knowledge. This certification is necessary for financial industry job seekers. 


Description: Companies such as Charles Schwab, Bank of America, Nationwide, Vanguard, and CIM Group are seeking entry-level professionals who have completed basic training in financial securities.
Competencies to be achieved: Knowledge of capital markets, understanding products and their risks, understanding trading customer accounts and prohibited activities overview of the regulatory framework.


Total Cost of Program: (include all costs to student including testing, licensure): $569.00 = Tuition $388.00 (SCC) + Registration $15.00 (SCC) + Graduation Fee $25.00 + Testing/Exam Fee $00.00 (Voucher issued from SCC for FINRA Exam) + Course Materials $141.00 Pass Perfect (SCC Follett)
