A. Course Objective:
Description: Gain knowledge and skills to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair automated electro-mechanical, product assembly, and process control systems that use programmable controls and other methods to manage complex systems. These systems include robotic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic devices. Includes preparation for National Institute of Metalworking (NIMS) certification exams.
Competencies to be achieved: Upon successful completion of the Automated Industrial Technology AAS program, the learner will be able to:

Define, integrate, install, program, and maintain complex control systems
• Gain the communication, problem solving, and professional skills needed to be successful in this field.
• Differentiate and troubleshoot automated production systems
