Description
Participants obtain a state credential to be Certified as an Integrated Healthcare Recovery Support Specialists allowing the individual to become employed in the field of behavioral health and eligible to provide a specific Peer Support service.
Participants learn Evidenced Based Practices including but not limited to:
Peer Support SAMHSA
Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) by Mary Ellen Copeland
Motivational Interviewing (MI) by William R. Miller & Stephen Rollnick
Self-Management and Recovery Training (SMART) by Peter Drucker & Robert S. Rubin
Whole Health Action Management (WHAM) SAMHSA
