A. Objective: Get comprehensive training and practical experience in nursing while preparing to become a licensed practical nurse. This program is approved by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
Competencies: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to Apply to the Arizona State Board of Nursing to take the NCLEX-PN

D. List of supplies required and price (if available): Scrubs, stethoscope (depends on student $20-200) Manual Blood Pressure Cuff (Approx $20), Computer with camera (Depends on students choice $200-$1000), Pen Light ($10-20), Nursing Scissors ($6-20) [Low: 265.00; High: 1,260.00]

Prerequisites: Accuplacer Testing:
- Writeplacer (5) or WRT090 or 096 with a “C” or better or placement into WRT 101
- Reading ( 249 ) REA 091 with a “C” or better or placement into REA 112
- Arithmetic (263) MAT 092 or MAT 097 with a “C” or better or placement into MAT 142 or MAT 151
