Description
- Course Objective:
The Assisted Living Manager course meets Arizona NCIA Board's requirement to take the Assisted Living Manager and the NCIA Board's exam, upon completion of this program and passing of the state exam, the candidate may apply for a Manager's License and qualify for the Board exam (an additional $300 plus $100 for a provisional license, not included in tuition)
The Assisted Living Manager course cover fundamentals of manager an Assisted Living Facility such as Legal and Ethical, Personnel Management, Operations, Resident Services Management, Medication Management, and Facility Management among other business basics.

Prospective Student must pass an admissions exam prior to being accepted into the program.
Pre-Requisite: Must have an AZ Assisted Living Caregiver Certification effective 11/2013 or later, alternatively, the candidate may be simultaneously enrolled in the Caregiver course and must finish it before applying for a Manager’s License.
Student must present a Gov’t issued ID to be accepted into the program and on the day of the state exam.
