A. Description: Learners will be prepared to begin a career in technology as a Computer Support Specialist/Help Desk Specialist in 12 weeks with two courses: UCIS136 & UCIS 136a.
Competencies: Learn to choose and install an operating system; configure and remove software, disk partitions and file systems; select tools and techniques to troubleshoot network problems; navigate Windows and linux file system; set up users, groups and permissions for account access; demonstrate skills in critical thinking.
