Description

A. Description: Learners be prepared for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians exam in 12 weeks with UEMT100. In addition to the NREMT certification, learners will train for CPR certification with UEMT159 and a 21st Century Skills course, Intercultural Fluency.
Competencies: Demonstrate assessment & management of cardiac arrest, demonstrate assessment & management of respiratory arrest; learn definition of disease states & risk factors, appropriately manage scene safety, perform & appropriately manage & stabilize patients of all ages, show intercultural fluency

Other requirements needed: Yes, see EMT advisor (must attend EMT information session; provide proof of AZ Dept of Health Services online account; must be 18 years-of-age; proof of negative drug screening; proof of personal health insurance; proof of vaccinations—MMR, Varicella, TB test, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza)
