Course Objective: This 16-week program provides an overview of investments, financial
services, exam preparation, workplace communication, customer service skills and
strategies.


Description: The program will prepare students to enter the financial service
industry and prepare them for the SIE® Exam. Students can learn professional skills and
develop a strong foundation to work at companies such as Charles Schwab, Bank of
America, Merrill Edge, Nationwide, Vanguard and CIM Group. These partners are seeking
entry-level professionals who have completed this program and exam. Career Pathways:
relationship specialist, financial services professional, account representative (non-IT),
personal banker, personal financial advisor, sales agent, and more. Competencies to be
achieved: Knowledge of capital markets, understanding products and their risks,
understanding trading customer accounts and prohibited activities overview of the regulatory
framework.
