- Course Objective: This program is approved by the State of Arizona Department of Health Services and allows students to sit for the NREMT National Registry Test.
Description: This course prepares students to be Emergency Medical Technicians, proficient in BLS (Basic Life Support) pre-hospital Emergency Medicine. This includes skills such as CPR, Advanced First aid, and Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support. Competencies to be achieved: CPR, First Aid, Team dynamics, Ambulance and gurney operations, Blood Glucose Monitoring, Cardiac monitor operation, Epinephrine Auto-injector, Intravenous monitoring, and EMS operations. Refer to course objectives within the course syllabus.
