A. Course Objective: CompTIA Security+ certification


Course Overview: This live, instructor-led training teaches the core technology skills associated with the CompTIA Security+ certification exam, as well as preparing you to take the certification exam.


This is an intensive week-long instructor-led course. Depending on the session selected, the course may be delivered in a live online format (via Zoom or similar video conferencing tool) and/or in-person (in Sierra Vista, Tucson or another location).

Background check requirements for licensing and background restrictions for working in the occupation: Specific employers or roles may require a pre-employment background check.


Other requirements needed: While not required, CompTIA recommends that Security+ candidates have at least two years of technical networking experience. CompTIA Network+ certification is also recommended prior to taking Security+.
