Description

NPC's program utilizes a state-of-the-art “classroom/shop” facility in Show Low. If you enjoy working on engines, have strong mechanical and problem-solving skills, NPC's Automotive Technology program can open the door to an exciting career. You will find one-on-one instructor guidance and hands-on live training with actual vehicles, as well as self-guided computer coursework. Program instruction is based on the industry competency requirements of two national agencies:



  • National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)

  • National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (ASE Industry Education Alliance)


All repairs and tasks follow ASE guidelines preparing students for national ASE certification in eight areas of repair. Courses are geared to both those who want a career in the automotive repair industry AND those who already work in the field and want to upgrade specific skills.
