Description

Course Objective: 
Our mission is to create Barbers that are well rounded in all aspects of cutting shaving facial, and hair coloring and perms. Our school also focuses on creating a knowledgeable barber that understands how to consult with patrons as well as manage the business end of the barber industry. We strive to create barbers that are self sufficient the day they leave our school and have created a proper plan to help the student create a longevity in a successful career.


Description:
We are a credited school licensed and bonded through the state of Arizona that allows for training on aspects of barbering, cutting techniques and barber procedures. We developed strategies to teach students how to cut hair in a efficient manner while working towards their certificate of completion. Each student is required to take an exam with the professional service to qualify as a applicant for licensure through the state of Arizona. Below are some the areas of study.

1-Barbering Section 240 hours: Provided by Bo cuts Academy- in person course
2- Theory 240 hours: Bocutz Academy study books and library questions 
3-Shaving Techniques 240 hours: In person (Break down in later section)
4-Hair cutting techniques 240 hours: In person (Break down in later section) Includes hair coloring and perms
5-Hands on learning 240 hours: In person (Break down in later section)

Refund Policy:
There are no refunds on paid tuition. Students must complete the necessary hours to cover their paid tuition. Once the tool kit has been issued there is no refund on this item. (No 
Exceptions)

Career Pathway:


Within the educational program, students will be trained in writing resumes and preparing for job interviews. Every possible effort will be made by the school to expose students to professionals in the field. Our aim is to make students aware of the many professional opportunities available to them. Although the school cannot guarantee placement, reasonable efforts will be made to assist students in securing suitable employment. This assistance is available to any student, regardless of how long ago the student graduated. We also work in close partnership with V’s Barbershop a well known franchise with over 50 shops all over the country that have guaranteed employment to future barbers struggling with employment.


Portable: Yes- Yes this is portable both including the hours earned and recorded to the state each month. Completion forms upon finishing school are also portable as well as licensee. They are able to transfer their license to any state that has reciprocity.

Currently we have no type of financial aid offer.  All of our students are set up on easy payment plans paying out of pocket.    Students can combine vouchers, grants, scholarships and other financial assistance toward thier balance owed. 

Refund Policy

Currently the students are required to give a 2,000 down payment.  But no refunds will be given after the student barber kit, books and equipment has been ordered.
