Description
The Electrical Technology - Residential Wiring Certificate prepares students for entry-level employment as residential wiring installers and electrician helpers. Topics of study include the proper techniques for residential wiring applications, including the use of the NEC codebook for residential electrical installations. Students are given opportunities to work in teams and to develop the communication skills necessary to be successful in the workplace. Workplace safety is emphasized throughout the program of study. The Electrical Technology program is offered on the Kingman Campus in Kingman.
This course is a competency-based program and requires a grade of B or better in each course in order to progress to the next course or set of courses.
Competency Based Education operates under the Student Handbook and the CBE Student Handbook.
