Program Synopsis: Data Analytics Professional Certificate
Course Objective: Graduates will demonstrate basic knowledge in data analytics that will prepare them to obtain an entry-level position within the field.
Description: Prepares students for an entry-level role in data analytics with a focus on spreadsheets, data cleansing, and analysis.
Competencies to be achieved:
PIT 105 Google Data Analytics Professional (4 cr.): Introduction to the practices and processes of data analytics.
Outcomes:
- Understand how to clean and organize data for analysis.
- Learn how to complete analysis and calculations using spreadsheets, SQL, and R programming.
- Learn how to visualize and present data findings in dashboards, presentations, and commonly used visualization platforms.
- Utilize key analytical skills (data cleaning, analysis, and visualization) and tools (spreadsheets, SQL, R programming, Tableau)
