Description
he Diesel Technician Certificate, utilizing a combination of diesel technology and business management skills, is designed for individuals preparing for positions including service managers, technicians, small business owners, and insurance adjusters. It prepares students to take the ASE examinations and become ASE certified technicians.

Program Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the Diesel Technician Certificate program, the learner will be able to:
- Analyze and repair automotive and light truck diesel engines.
- Analyze and repair automotive and light truck diesel fuel system components.
- Analyze and repair automotive and diesel truck electrical system components.
- Perform basic service maintenance on diesel cars and diesel trucks.
- Analyze and repair drive trains.
- Analyze diesel truck computer controlled systems.
